New Prices for 2013
Our entire pricing structure has changed for 2013. Our most popular uncapped accounts have received price cuts.
1Mbps uncapped accounts are now R499/m and our 400kbps uncapped accounts are now R349/m.
In addition to the uncapped, we have also introduced a per megabyte account for customers that only need occasional internet access. There will be no monthly fee on this account, since you will be charged for how much data you transfer.
Faster Uncapped
We are excited to announce our all new uncapped packages. Our new speeds include 400kbps, 1mbps, 2mbps, 3mbps uncapped accounts. The old 700kbps account has been changed to a 1mbps account, and it's cost has been reduced to R499 pm.
As always these accounts are for customers that don't want to worry about reaching a traffic threshold and being capped.
In addition to general browsing and streaming, the accounts also allow for torrenting and downloading from news servers. All the accounts also come with file sharing within the UCOM network.
Per Megabyte Accounts
Due to demand we have introduced a new account type, the per-megabyte account. This packages has no flat monthly charge, since you are simply billed for your data usage. This means that if you only use 100mb, then you will only be charged for 100mb.
These per megabyte data accounts are ideal for customers who only need occasional internet access, or customers who are unsure whether a dedicated account will be worthwhile for them.
The accounts also come with up to four simultaneous logins.
